Anyone who has a teenager knows that if you give them a cell phone without unlimited services or a cellular phone plan without 1000s and 1000s of text messages and unlimited minutes that they will run up the largest mobile phone bill you ever saw. So, what about Sprint's solution to these market conditions; that is to say what about the "Simply Everything" cell phone calling plan?
The price is not all that bad really, and it is something to consider; $99 per month, which includes unlimited use of text messaging, unlimited pictures, unlimited videos, and unlimited talk time. Wow, that's a lot of phone use, but for an up-and-coming millennial or a super charged entrepreneur with a smart phone that goes everywhere they do and sleeps beside their bed, maybe it's a good plan to consider?
Sprint has a number of interesting plans, which have small add-ons for unlimited websurfing, emails, and data services too. They even have a world-wide unlimited plan for those who travel with their Blackberries - think about it unlimited data, phone, texting, email, etc. And then you can add-on GPS turn-by-turn navigation ($9.99 per month) or Sprint family locator feature, want to know where your kids really are? Ha ha ha, well maybe not, but if you do $5.00 per month extra on the unlimited plan.
It will be extremely interesting as Sprint has more and more 4G areas to see how they go about that, because with an unlimited 4G service plan and a USB port card for your laptop, you could have your phone and all your internet surfing for one price. So, you wouldn't need cable, DSL, broadband at home, or a home phone, you'd literally have everything but Cable TV, although who knows that might be a future something Sprint 4G or maybe in the future 5G offers? Time will tell, but this unlimited calling plan makes a lot of sense for now.
If you are searching for the best calling plan, check around, and definitely check online. If you find yourself too "hurried" by a sales person at a local cell phone store, walk away and think about it. Remember many of these plans are long-term 12-months and up, while some are either short or long-term. I guess this is why I like the Spring program and the unlimited plans, but this is going to be a decision you make on your own.
